Statement of the Department:

This department is one of three divisions in the faculty of pharmacy. Courses given by this department help students to acquire different skills in the field of pharmacy such as information skills, intellectual skills as well as professional skills. Practical experiments which help students to obtain basic principles in research and development process and develop their practical skills. The department aims to: 1- Graduate pharmacists familiar with pharmaceutical sciences and have the necessary skills to enable them move forward more confidently through prior training. 2- Prepare graduates qualified to work in different jobs and professions, whether in the areas of pharmacies, drug industry or in the academic field. 3. Prepare graduates having different skills and qualified to work in research centers and fields of drug design, drug discovery and drug development to give them chance to compete in local and international industrial fields.
